...did anybody say DOTA?

Special thanks:

Games these days continue to be more complicated as well as the players to continue to grow. Whether be role playing, adventure, action, sports, shooting or online gaming, the graphics and overall game play just astound the audiences and fellow gamers as well.

Recently, the specific game that’s ruling the whole network gaming cafes is “Defense of the Ancients” or most commonly called as DOTA. Now, I may ask. What is DOTA? Defense of the Ancienets is a custom map for the game Warcraft III: Frozen Throne which is based on a previous game called Aeon of Strife in Starcraft.

The basic scenario of the game is that there are two opposing teams. Each team composes of five heroes and has an AI or (Artificial Intelligence) allied creeps that support your way to destroy the opponent’s base which consists of hordes of towers, buildings and of course, the very main tower of the team. The main goal of the game is to destroy completely the very main Frozen Throne or World Tree of each base.

This game consists of 97 heroes. Each team must choose only 5 to play a specific game. This is where different strategies come to play. The role of each player in each team is to kill the opposing team’s players and race through the hordes of the creeps to achieve victory.

In conclusion, DOTA really is a very interesting game that I truly believe that everybody should try and play.

KOBE FOR THE WIN!

Kobe Bryant: The best baller in the planet

The game clock down to 10 secs, your opponent is leading by one. You have one last final play to win the ball game. Who will you go to? Any coach’s dream is to have a player who is motivated, a proven winner and courageous who will shoot the ball for the win with no hesitation. No one can deny that Kobe “The Black Mamba” Bryant is the man you want to have in this type of situation.

Kobe Bryant entered the NBA in 1996. He was drafted 13th overall by the Charlotte Bobcats but was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers the same day. He came straight from high school, one of the few who made the jump to the NBA straight from high school.

Today, the player who plays number 24 for the Los Angeles Lakers, is regarded as one of the best basketball players in the world. He has a killer’s instinct, a great work ethic and is one of the most famous players active today. Mr. Bryant, we believe, is the most clutch player the NBA has today.

Kobe has proven time and again that when the game is on the line, he is never afraid to take the final shot. In fact, just within this season, he has buried at least 3 buzzer beaters that won the game for the Lakers. One against the Sacramento Kings, another against the Milwaukee Bucks and a winning shot against the Miami Heat.

The player has got millions of move. Even one of the best basketball defenders in the NBA today Shane Battier of the Houston Rockets cannot contain Kobe Bryant from stamping his class in a game. In last year’s playoffs, Shane tried to shackle Kobe Bryant in their 7game series that went the distance but Kobe Bryant proved too much for him and his team went on to beat the Rockets and the whole NBA.

The Black Mamba has four championship rings and is now searching for his fifth. He led his team to the championship last year with Pau Gasol, his Spaniard teammate alongside. Over time, Kobe has changed and matured in becoming the leader of his team. Since the departure of his former partner in crime in Shaquille O’Neal, Bryant has developed his game from being just a scorer to a leader as well. He blocks shots, defends the best player of the opposing team and he has the intangibles that all players doesn’t have.

With what we have said, we now leave you to some of the best plays in season 2009 Kobe Bryant has showed all his fans all throughout the world. Enjoy watching and let’s get ready for the KOBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SHOW! :>
